GrimaldoPrestan is responsible for personal data received through this site. The sole channel for privacy questions and requests is info@grimaldoprestan.com.
Information we may receive
We may receive information you choose to provide by email, including your name, contact details, organization and information needed to understand your inquiry.
The site may also process technical data necessary for delivery and security, such as IP address, browser type, access time and security logs. With your permission, analytics may measure visited pages, approximate session duration, device and general browsing patterns. We do not use advertising cookies.
Purposes and legal grounds
We process information to respond to inquiries, assess potential engagements, manage client relationships, protect the site, comply with legal duties and defend rights. Depending on the circumstances, processing relies on consent, pre-contractual steps, the professional relationship, legal obligations or legitimate interests compatible with your rights.
Submitting an inquiry does not itself create an attorney-client relationship. Do not send sensitive or confidential information before the firm confirms acceptance of the matter.
Retention, recipients and security
We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, professional or legal obligations, and potential claims.
Technology and hosting providers may process information under instructions and confidentiality safeguards. We do not sell personal data. Where processing occurs outside Panama, we seek appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.
We apply reasonable organizational and technical safeguards; no internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Panama Law 81 of 2019 and its regulations recognize rights of access, rectification, cancellation, objection and portability. You may also withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing.
- Email info@grimaldoprestan.com and identify your request sufficiently.
- We may request reasonable information to verify identity and protect your data.
- You may also contact or lodge a complaint with Panama’s National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI).
Individuals in the European Union and EEA
The worldwide availability of this site does not, by itself, mean that the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. Where specific processing falls within its territorial scope, we will apply the corresponding safeguards.
In those circumstances, processing will rely, as applicable, on consent, pre-contractual or contractual steps, a legal obligation, or legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights. Where required, international transfers will use an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another permitted mechanism.
- You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.
- You may lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority where you live or work, or where you believe an infringement occurred.
- This site does not make decisions producing legal effects based solely on automated processing and does not profile visitors.
